The 2008 Winners of the Seniors Beaconsfield competition were a team from the Beaconsfield  High School

 

Winners of the Junior competition were a team from the Beaconsfield School.

 

The trophies were presented by the President of the Rotary Club of Beaconsfield, John Meredith.

 

The 2 teams go on to compete in the district competition and if they come through that round  they will then be competing in the national round.

“Youth Speaks” - is an annual competition, organised by Rotarians where teams from local schools compete to become public speaking champions.

 

In two categories, seniors and juniors compete at local venues all over the country. Winners of the local rounds go forward to compete at District level and these winners  in tern then compete at National level.
